Turquoise White has worked in healthcare and education since 2018 and has taught over 1,000 students. She purchased Hawaii Medical Training Center from the original owner, who believed she would be the right person to continue leading and growing the program.
Her teaching style is built around confidence, patience, and real-world preparation. At HMTC, students are encouraged to learn, ask questions, make mistakes, build memories, and grow into the healthcare professionals they are working to become.
HMTC is different because our instructors are also actively striving toward their own goals in the medical field and within their communities. That same drive, inspiration, and determination is passed on to every student.
National Certification Preparation
Hawaii Medical Training Center programs are designed to prepare students for national certification through the National Healthcareer Association, also known as NHA.
Students receive training focused on building the knowledge, hands-on skills, and confidence needed to pursue certification and enter the healthcare field.
